Proof Snapshots
Side by side trial results, measured in the harvest terms that matter.
Cauliflower Harvest Results
This is the cleanest example of what Seed Edge Ag is built to do: deliver biology precisely at planting, then prove it at harvest with a treated versus untreated comparison.
In a commercial cauliflower comparison in the Salinas Valley region, treated strips produced 362 cartons versus 286 cartons on the first harvest pass.
On the second pass, treated strips produced 336 cartons versus 186 cartons.
The story here is not just a stronger first pick, it is sustained performance into the later harvest window when fields often separate. It is the kind of measurable, harvest based outcome that makes a pilot worth scaling.
Broccoli Harvest Results
Broccoli results are measured where it matters, at harvest.
In one commercial comparison in the Salinas Valley region, treated acres produced 758 cartons per acre versus 569 cartons per acre in the untreated area.
That is a meaningful separation in a crop where small changes in harvest output quickly become real dollars. The right way to think about this result is simple: same field, treated and untreated side by side, then a harvest readout that tells you whether the program belongs in your operation.
Lettuce Harvest Results
Lettuce adoption hinges on two things: it has to fit your workflow, and it has to show a signal you can trust. On the workflow side, stand stayed essentially complete in a lettuce establishment evaluation.
Greenhouse emergence finished around 95% to 97%, field stand post germ was roughly 99% to 100%, and stand after thinning held around 97.5% to 98.75%.
On the performance signal side, early plant vigor separated in a treated versus untreated field check. A five plant pull weighed 10.46 lb in the treated area versus 6.41 lb in the untreated area, with the treated plants also showing about 16% more leaves at the sampling timing.
Together, those two pieces of evidence support what growers care about early: no stand surprises, and a stronger start that can carry through the season when conditions get tight.
Celery Harvest Results
Celery value is won or lost in pack out sizing. In a Katherine’s Wheel celery comparison in Coachella, the treated block shifted heavily into premium sizing.
In the untreated field planting trial, 18 count celery made up 40 of 157 units, about 25%. With the SeedEdgeAg treatment, 18 count jumped to 136 of 154 units, about 88%. This is a 63% increase in the 18 count units. At the same time, 24 count dropped from 88 of 157 (56%) to 18 of 154 (12%), and 30 count went from 28 of 157 (18%) to 0 of 154 (0%).
What that means in plain terms: the treated block produced far more of the size you actually want to pack, and essentially eliminated the smaller sizing that drags pack out value down.
Results vary by field, season, and management. Examples shown are from side by side treated versus untreated comparisons and are not a guarantee of future performance.
